The BBC iPlayer is set for an official launch on Christmas day.
The launch promises to fix those bugs experienced by beta testers, and will see the addition of Flash streaming options for Mac and Linux users with download capability expected to follow in the new year. Other planned updates include radio programmes and series stacking.
